Knowing the door is not the same as getting in

Ratha writes the posts these buyers read before they reply, tells you who from these accounts engaged, and gives you a pre-meeting dossier naming the buying committee. Free to start.

Common questions

Who buys components for robotics companies?

Mostly the robot builders themselves, and they buy like hardware startups rather than like automotive OEMs. Expect an engineering led decision, a smaller committee, faster cycles and far less formal vendor onboarding. Warehouse and industrial automation buyers are the exception: once they scale, they adopt manufacturing style supplier registration.

How do I become a supplier to a robotics company?

Usually by reaching an engineer rather than a procurement officer. Many robotics firms publish no supplier portal at all, so the entries above mix registration links with the most direct commercial contact route available. Technical credibility opens these doors, which is why a documented track record matters more here than a certification list.

Do robotics and physical AI buyers use tenders?

Seldom. Tenders appear when the end customer is public, for example defence robotics or municipal automation. Private robotics buying is commercial and relationship driven. If you are used to bidding for public work, this sector will feel unfamiliar.

After you have found the door

Robotics buying committees are small and technical, and they research suppliers the way engineers do, by reading what those suppliers publish. Ratha writes the posts those engineers read, tells you which of them engaged, and hands you a dossier naming the committee before the meeting.
